LEGAL SERVICES

Businesses today not only face the challenge of competition, but are also subject to the risk of several disputes & litigations which may arise in the course of business. Even though we try to mitigate these risks by entering into legal agreements with the parties involved at the earliest possible stage, businesses need to always be prepared to deal with legal battles which they might face.

Corporate law (also known as business law or company law) is the body of law governing the rights, relations & conduct of persons, companies, organization & businesses. Corporate law often describes the law relating to matters which derive directly from the life-cycle of a corporation. It thus is very wide in scope and encompasses the formation, funding, governance, and death of a corporation.

Banking & Finance Law

A strong banking and finance structure is the back-bone of any business and compliance with laws in this area is of utmost importance. All borrowers, lenders, investors and other stakeholders involved in any banking or financial transactions in India are regulated by these acts and therefore it becomes necessary for them to comply with the norms & procedures laid down while engaging in activities such as borrowing, lending, domestic & international transactions, investments etc.

Arbitration, Mediation & Conciliation

Arbitration, mediation and conciliation are the main alternative dispute resolution mechanisms which are generally adopted by the people to resolve their disputes in an informal manner. Through these mechanisms, persons in dispute try to reach a solution by settlement or negotiation with the assistance of a third neutral party. They have turned out to be an effective alternative to the lengthy procedures of the litigation process.

The Constitution of India provides various rights to the citizens of India. One of the most essential rights for the intellectual & moral development of citizens are fundamental rights which include rights to equality, right to freedom, right against exploitation etc. The Constitution also provides mechanisms to protect & enforce these rights under Article 32 and Article 226 which provides the right to move the Supreme Court & the High Court respectively  through writ petitions for such enforcement.
